Is writing a letter online here free?

Yes. Writing a letter and sharing it as a link or QR code costs nothing and needs no account. Only having it written on paper and posted is paid.

How do I share the letter I write?

When you finish, you get a private link and a QR code. Send the link over WhatsApp or email, or print the QR code onto a card or gift so it opens the letter when scanned.

Does the person need an account to read it?

No. Anyone with the link can open and read the letter. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.

How long does the link last?

A year. A digital letter is not a keepsake - if you want something that lasts, have it written on paper and posted.

How does LetterByPost work?

You write your letter online, choose a style (Printed, Handwritten, or Scheduled), add optional extras like wax seals or scented paper, and pay securely. We print or hand-write it, package it, and deliver it anywhere in India within 4-5 business days.

How much does it cost to send a letter?

A Printed letter is ₹799 and a Handwritten letter is ₹1299, inclusive of GST. Optional add-ons like a wax seal (₹100) or photo attachments (₹100) cost extra, a scented envelope is ₹50, and scheduling delivery for a future date is ₹100.

Is delivery charged extra?

No. Postage anywhere in India is included in the letter price, with no distance pricing and no shipping charge added at checkout. The price you see is the price you pay.

How long does delivery take?

We dispatch within 24 to 48 business hours of payment. Delivery typically takes 3-5 business days anywhere in India via our partner Shiprocket, and you'll receive a tracking number by email.

Can I cancel my order?

No - due to the personalized and custom nature of our physical products, all orders placed on LetterbyPost are final and cannot be cancelled or refunded once placed.
