First birthday invitation, free
Make the card, send the link on WhatsApp, and see who is coming before you count the chairs.
What actually goes on it
The child's name, the date, and where. Everything else is optional and most of it gets ignored. The one thing worth adding is a line about food, because a first birthday usually runs through a mealtime and people plan their day around it.
A photograph does more than a design
Nobody needs to be told what a first birthday is. What makes somebody stop scrolling in a family group is the face of the child, so the photo sits at the top of the card and everything else sits under it.
Why the headcount matters here
A first birthday is catered. Twelve replies can mean forty people, because families answer as families, so each guest says how many are coming rather than just yes.

How far ahead should I send it?
Two to three weeks is usual for a first birthday, and a reminder a few days before does more than sending it early. There is no cutoff here - you can send it the morning of the party if you want to.
Can I add the photo later?
Not yet. The photo is set when you make the card, so pick one before you start. Everything else you can simply make again.
