When should I order for it to reach by Raksha Bandhan?
For peace stations, order at least a week ahead; for forward or high-altitude postings, give it two weeks or more — APS mail to remote posts moves with convoy and weather schedules. Early letters wait for the festival; late ones are still treasured.
Can you deliver to a 56 APO or 99 APO address?
Yes. We post via India Post, which interfaces with the Army Postal Service for APO mail. Give us the exact unit address in the C/O 56 APO or C/O 99 APO format, precisely as the soldier has shared it, and the letter travels through the APS network to his unit.
Can I send a rakhi to a jawan I don't know?
Rakhi for unknown jawans is usually organised through official and NGO campaigns that provide unit addresses for the drive. If you have an address from such a campaign, we'll happily write and post your letter to it.
How do I send a rakhi letter to my brother posted in the army?
