How does LetterByPost work?

You write your letter online, choose a style (Printed, Handwritten, or Scheduled), add optional extras like wax seals or scented paper, and pay securely. We print or hand-write it, package it, and deliver it anywhere in India within 4-5 business days.

How much does it cost to send a letter?

A Printed letter is ₹999 and a Handwritten letter is ₹1499, inclusive of GST. Optional add-ons like a wax seal (₹100) or photo attachments (₹100) cost extra, a scented envelope is ₹50, and scheduling delivery for a future date is ₹100.

Is delivery charged extra?

No. Postage anywhere in India is included in the letter price, with no distance pricing and no shipping charge added at checkout. The price you see is the price you pay.

How long does delivery take?

We dispatch within 24 to 48 business hours of payment. Delivery typically takes 3-5 business days anywhere in India via our partner Shiprocket, and you'll receive a tracking number by email.

Can I cancel my order?

No - due to the personalized and custom nature of our physical products, all orders placed on LetterbyPost are final and cannot be cancelled or refunded once placed.

Will it arrive before Diwali?

Order at least 5–6 days before the festival to be safe, or use our Scheduled option to arrive on the day.

Can I write in Hindi?

Yes - our handwritten style supports Hindi and English, so you can write exactly the way you'd speak.

Can I send sweets or gifts with it?

We send letters and printed photos. Many people post gifts separately and let the letter carry the heartfelt words.
