🤝 Diwali · Clients

Your Client Received Nine Identical Hampers. Send the Thing They'll Remember.

Diwali is the one season when every vendor a company deals with sends something, and it all arrives in the same week looking the same. A letter is the only item in that pile addressed to a person rather than to a designation.

Diwali Letter to Clients letter by post

Make it theirs

This is the name we write on the envelope. You can change it later.

Start writing

Pick the date and we will tell you the last day to order.

We post within 48 hours, and delivery takes 3-7 working days. We never collect on a Sunday.

Why send a letter

Not another branded box

Hampers get redistributed around the office within a day. A letter with somebody's name on it stays on their desk.

Specific beats expensive

A sentence naming the actual project you worked on together does more for a relationship than a bigger gift ever has.

Works where gifts are awkward

Plenty of companies have policies against accepting gifts. Nobody has a policy against a letter.

To a long-standing client
Six years of working together, and I do not think I have ever put in writing how straightforward you have made it. Thank you for the trust and for the briefs that actually say what they want. Wishing you and your team a bright Diwali.
After a difficult project
This year's project tested both our teams and we came out of it in better shape than we went in, which is not how those usually end. Thank you for sticking with it. Have a proper break this Diwali - you have earned a quiet one.
To a new client
Our first Diwali as your suppliers, and I wanted to mark it with something other than an invoice. Thank you for taking the chance on us this year. We intend to make it an easy decision to repeat.

Questions, answered

More answers on the FAQ page.

What is a good corporate Diwali gift for clients in India?

Something that is not identical to what eight other vendors sent. A letter is 499 printed or 699 handwritten on 100gsm cream paper, addressed to a named person, delivered anywhere in India.

Can we send Diwali letters to many clients at once?

Yes - write to us about volume orders. Each one is individually written or printed with the client's name, so nothing reads like a mailer.

Will the letter reach before Diwali?

We produce your letter within a day and send it by tracked post - typically 3-6 days anywhere in India. Order about a week before the festival to be comfortable. Post volumes climb steeply in the fortnight before Diwali, so earlier is genuinely better for this one.

Can a letter be sent where company policy forbids accepting gifts?

This is one of the main reasons businesses choose it. A letter has no resale value and creates no obligation, so it passes policies that a hamper does not.

What should a business write to a client at Diwali?

Name the specific work. One honest line about the actual project, the brief, or the difficult patch you came through together is worth more than a paragraph of festive wishes with a logo under it.

Can the letter be delivered to a client office address?

Yes - give the office address with the recipient's name and a phone number for the courier. Schedule it to arrive before the festival week, when offices start emptying.

Can we include our company name on the letter?

Yes - sign it the way you would sign any letter from the business. We would suggest keeping branding to the signature rather than the page; the point is that it does not look like marketing.

I don't know what to write. Can you help?

Start from the samples on this page, or use our free writing assistant to shape a draft in your own voice. You approve every word before it is written out and posted - nothing goes in the envelope that doesn't sound like you.

Find the letter that fits the person and the moment.
